i never call you on the phone at all
i'm glad to hear you're doing well
so here's to better days
it's been a long time
ten years since i left you there
sometimes i wonder had i stayed
what would i be wondering about today
it's all water under a distant overpass
it's probably just the rain making me feel this way
after a while these feelings always pass
i know we're older
but you still make me feel nineteen
today has found me in a state
full of memories
i called you on the phone
to say that i was sorry
