i used to look up to you
now i can't look at you at all
sometimes it seems as though
you were never here at all

i can hear clearly
my watch is ticking
all that i see and do is
formed around the dripping of time

left out and alone
tied down and packed away
all that i see these days are
visions of our room

and visions of you too
