I went over to Tom's house last night to jam on drums with some of his friends. I had a great time. I haven't played drums in a long time, sadly. Most of the time, when I do play, it is just for recording purposes. I haven't sat down with other musicians in a long time. Tom was playing around with my new OCD pedal last night. It sounded great. It is going to take some time for me to find a comfortable happy place with it. I was surprised at how much of a [negative?] affect the drive has on tone. Turning the drive knob down low gives the whole mix a "down in a barrel" sound, which you have to counteract with the Tone knob. Turning up to a higher drive amount thins the sound out considerably, which again requires messing with the Tone knob. It certainly isn't a plug and play device like most Boss or DOD pedals are. The range of possibilities with this thing is huge.
