The gaskets under the spoiler had slid out to the sides, were leaking, and making my trunk space oh so stinky... not to mention the big rust that is forming under there... (note the big, wide scuff in the paint above the keyhole in the trunk. see it?)

I pulled that stupid spoiler off...

... peeled up the gaskets... (remember that paint scuff on the trunk lid? Interesting, it matches the big scuff on the bottom of the brake light here... I tightened that up. It won't be falling out and scratching up the car anymore!)

... and applied my Dad's favorite fix, the black silicone sealant.

My next project will be to remove this stupid tow bar. Who the hell would have thought to tow something behind this car? What was it? What WAS it? Log splitter? House trailer? Whatever it was, it needs to GO!
