After an hour with a file, I gave up on it and just sprayed the spots with <a href=\"https:\/\/medinaline.net\/tallulah\/index.php\/tag\/krylon-fusion-matte-vintage-blue\/\">Krylon Fusion Matte Vintage Blue<\/a> (of course). <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I recently picked up handy Bandfile Belt Sander from Harbor Freight (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.harborfreight.com\/53-amp-12-in-x-18-in-bandfile-belt-sander-58155.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">link<\/a>):<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" width=\"900\" height=\"1200\" src=\"https:\/\/medinaline.net\/tallulah\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/04\/20250705_140900-small-1.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-1532\" srcset=\"https:\/\/medinaline.net\/tallulah\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/04\/20250705_140900-small-1.jpg 900w, https:\/\/medinaline.net\/tallulah\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/04\/20250705_140900-small-1-225x300.jpg 225w, https:\/\/medinaline.net\/tallulah\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/04\/20250705_140900-small-1-768x1024.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 900px) 100vw, 900px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Not so much of a big deal on the side of the fender, but my regular palm sander wouldn&#8217;t have fit up in between the rear bumper and rear skirt where the other big ouchy is located. I used a little too aggressive of a belt , but it took the blob right off.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" width=\"1200\" height=\"900\" affected areas with brake parts cleaner, then Sprayway glass cleaner.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" width=\"1200\" height=\"900\" guts, but at least it&#8217;s smoothable-outable now. Those fenders are covered in a thick layer of filler, though the steel as visible from the underside is totally smooth and unharmed.
